Episode three: Shindig

The ship finally gets to a planet with a city. The captain informs the crew that the occasion is for refueling and work getting only.

As everyone else goes about the city on their own business, Mal and Jayne are met by Badger who offers them some work transporting cargo.

As part of the deal, Badger gives tickets to Mal to a ball where Inara is performing some of her work duties with a client. At the ball, Mals romantic feelings for Inara show as jealousy for her client and through his bad behaviour he ends up scheduled for a duel with the man.

In the duel Mal does badly but due to Inara distracting her client, he gains the upper hand and leaves the client wounded having won the duel. Everyone then returns to the ship where they find their cargo hold full of cows.
