Minds was formed 8 years ago to promote information technology within NUI Maynooth. Since then it has continued to trive, increasing in members every year. It is member society of Intersocs, which has linked up the major IT societys around Ireland.

Minds users have access to a wide variety of development tools, and the Minds newsgroups offer a way to seek advice from experienced programmers (of which Minds has plenty!)

Furthermore, for budding computer scientists, Minds brings in highly experienced programmers from industry for talks and workshops on the latest and greatest technologies being used in IT companies. For students who wish to perform well and have a future in computer science Minds membership is a must!

The Minds website has documents explaining how to use Minds services, as well as online storage, details of talks&workshops past and present, as well the latest news from the Minds society.
